This welcome book has some information that may be of use to you during your stay. We encourage our guests to flip through it to learn about the Prominence Community as well as fun, local things to do.

Trash Pick Up

  • Pickup Tuesday & Friday mornings
  • Please bag all trash & put in trash can located in the garage. Place trash can (with lid tightly attached) on curb Monday & Thursday nights and return trash can to inside the garage after pick-up the next day.
  • There is a $20/per day charge if our can is found at the street after pickup. Our can is marked w/our address “57B”

Check Out Time

  • Return Both Thermostats to 75 degrees in Summer and 65 degrees in Winter
  • Lock bicycles to rack in garage.
  • Place Golf Cart key in lock box in Golf Cart
  • Put all trash in a trash bag and in trash can.

No More Than 11 guests may occupy this home

Noise Complaints will result in immediate eviction per your rental agreement

Parking

  • ONLY (2) vehicles can be parked in our driveway. Parking is very limited in Prominence
  • Please do not park any vehicles in the street or in our neighbor’s driveway, landscaping or on the sidewalk. Additional parking is available across 30A at The Big Chill or parking spaces around the pool.

Noise

  • The neighborhood has quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. each day, including weekends. 
  • Please be respectful of your neighbors and keep TV and music volume down during these hours.

Smart TV’s

  • We utilize Amazon Firestick on all Smart TV’s
  • Please DO NOT log out of our Amazon accounts we provide
  • Please DO NOT make any purchases on the Amazon Fire Sticks
  • You can add your personal APPS but we ask that you remove those before your Departure Day.   

Garage Door

  • Our garage door MUST remain closed at all times when not in use. There is an HOA fine of $50/per occurrence if our garage door is left open. Guests will cover this charge.
  • To protect against theft, please make sure our entry door, patio door, garage door and your vehicle doors remain locked at all times.

Laundry

  • Clean out the lint trap on the dryer after each use.
  • Leave the washing machine door open after each use.
  • Only use HE Laundry Detergent
  • Pods go INSIDE the washer bin
  • Liquid goes in the top pullout compartment on left side

Beach Equipment 

  • PLEASE DO NOT place our beach chairs in the ocean water. Doing so will rapidly destroy them. 
  • Please return all beach equipment to the garage and wash sand and salt off. 
  • Please replace it if you break it.


Kitchen

  • USE ONLY Distilled water in the Keurig machine.
  • Please do not put our cookware in the dishwasher or leave in the sink. These MUST be handwashed. 
  • Please do not put shrimp shells or other fish parts in the garbage disposal
  • FIRE EXTINGUISHER is found under the kitchen sink on the right-hand side


Grill

  • Located at the Pool
  • Grills may NOT be used on the patio, inside the garage or on the driveway.
  • Fire Pits are NOT allowed at all.

Bed and Bath Linens

  • PER THE CDC: Please DO NOT USE OR SLEEP WITH our pillow shams or decorative pillows.
  • Remove them from the beds after you arrive & place them in the closets.
  • There is a $50 cleaning fee if they are found to have been used. Guests will be responsible for this charge.
  • DO NOT use our white towels to remove makeup. Grey washcloths are provided in each bathroom for this use.

Guests may park 2 vehicles on the driveway in front of this unit’s double garage door (marked “B”). Garage door must remain closed unless the garage is being actively used to enter or exit the property.

  • Parking around the resort pool is reserved for guests actively using the pool. Street parking in Prominence is prohibited. Vehicles risk being towed if parked in these locations.


  • Extra parking is available across the street near The Hub. No RV, boat, or trailer parking is allowed in the community.


  • Please do not use the driveway spaces in front of the double garage doors for units “A” and “C” (marked above the double garage doors). These driveways belong to the other units. Unauthorized users of these driveways risk being towed.


  • Golf carts can only be parked IN garages or ON our driveway. Golf carts that are parked on sidewalks, streets, or green space risk being towed by Prominence Security.


  • Children or unlicensed drivers are never allowed to drive golf carts per Florida law. Golf carts are not allowed on any bike path.

Before you leave, PLEASE:


  • Place any dirty towels/washcloths on the laundry room floor
  • Leave bed linens (sheets & blankets) on the beds
  • Remove food from the refrigerator and place in the outside garbage can (IN A GARBAGE BAG PLEASE)
  • Put all bikes back in the stands in the garage and LOCK to stand
  • Put golf cart key back in lockbox
  • Remove all excess sand off of our golf cart.
  • Remove all of your belongings and trash from the golf cart
  • Make sure the beach chairs are washed off and back on the holders on the garage wall
  • Put extra beach toys in containers under beach chairs
  • Remove any of your added APPS from our TV’s
  • Load the dishwasher, add dishwasher soap, and HIT START to run the dishwasher
  • PLEASE DO NOT put our cookware in the dishwasher or leave in the sink. These MUST be handwashed.
  • Place thermostat on 75 degrees for summer, 65 degrees for winter
  • Turn off all lights
  • Lock all exterior doors

  • North Pool is located in the front of our community.
  • South Pool is located across 30A, two streets behind The Hub.


  • Our pools are open from 9:00 a.m. to dusk. No floats other than child safety devices are allowed at the pools.


  • ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS ALLOWED INSIDE OF THE POOL AREA.


  • Food and drink MUST be kept 4 ft. from the pool deck.


  • If you are sick, feel sick, have a fever or diarrhea, PLEASE DO NOT ENTER the pools. INFANTS AND CHILDREN NOT POTTY-TRAINED MUST BE IN SWIM DIAPERS.


  • Our pools WILL be immediately shut down for a minimum of 24 hours IF the water is contaminated due to vomit or feces or IF glass is found brought into the pool area. IF the pools are closed down, the grill area is closed down. When our pools are closed, this means NO ADMITTANCE and anyone found in the pool area when our pools are closed down will be considered TRESPASSING and will be evicted by Security and/or the Walton County Sheriff.


  • Located in the far left-hand building at our North Pool.


  • Holds the same hours as the pools


  • NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 14 IS ALLOWED TO USE THE EXERCISE ROOM.

Use of a golf cart IS a privilege, not a right. Please respect a golf cart and remember safety of all persons is paramount


To drive a Low-Speed Vehicle, you MUST;

  • Be a Tenant of Tranquli-sea
  • Be AT LEAST 25 years old
  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Have an up-to-date auto insurance policy
  • Have signed a copy of our Low-Speed Vehicle Liability Waiver


Our cart has a maximum capacity of (6) passengers = No more than 6 people on the cart at one time.


Everyone must wear seat belts when riding the cart and if your child rides in a car seat in your vehicle they MUST ride in a car seat on our golf cart, This is FLORIDA LAW.


YOU CANNOT HOLD A CHILD IN YOUR LAP OR ON YOUR PERSON ON ANY CART! FLORIDA LAW! DO NOT LEAVE CHILDREN UNATTENDED ON THE GOLF CART AT ANY TIME! Children & teenagers are NOT PERMITTED to operate our golf cart.

Our cart is a street legal golf cart and is considered a motor vehicle; driven by licensed drivers only; drivers MUST have their licenses on their person.


NO ONE under the age of 25 is permitted to drive our cart, even if they have a driver’s license – NO EXCEPTIONS. Our insurance ONLY covers those adults 25 and older and that have signed the liability waiver. Thank you for respecting that.


• PLEASE DO NOT park our cart in anyone’s driveway

• PLEASE DO NOT park our cart in the street

• PLEASE DO NOT park our cart on the sidewalk

• PLEASE DO NOT park our cart in the landscaping

• PLEASE DO NOT park our cart off the side of any roads

In other words, our cart MUST be parked in our driveway (during the day only) OR in our garage (MANDATORY at night) or in a legal vehicle parking spot. NO WHERE ELSE PLEASE! Our cart MUST be returned to our garage every night. Please DO NOT leave our cart anywhere overnight OR out in the pouring rain.


NOTE: Please be advised that Rosemary Beach & Alys Beach DO NOT allow golf carts to be parked in their community but you can park in the public parking lot at Seacrest Commercial center and walk to these other two communities. Rosemary HOA and Alys Beach HOA WILL ticket and/or tow any golf carts found parked in their communities. Guests will be responsible for any tickets or towing charges.


• Please leave our vehicle registration and proof of auto insurance cards securely stored in the glove compartment on the driver’s side of the vehicle.


• Our street legal LSV is essentially a small car so you must follow all the same laws as you would to operate a regular automobile in the state of Florida.


• DO NOT drive the LSV under the influence of Alcohol or have any open containers of Alcohol on board. You can definitely get a DUI, just like in a car.

Park just like a regular car in the parking spots around the pool. DO NOT park in front of the mailbox kiosks however.

Deer Lake Beach Access

6/10ths of a mile west of our complex on 30A

Please be careful when driving the cart down the gravel entrance road as there are a few pot holes and puddles to look out for. Picturesque Boardwalk over the Dunes out to the beach. You will not find a prettier view.

There is a $3.00 per day nominal entrance fee per vehicle

Park just like a regular car


Eastern Lake Beach Access

Go approx. 1.5 miles west of our complex on 30A; turn left onto S Gulf Drive and take it to the end. There’s usually limited street parking at this location. First come, first serve. We Love This Beach!


Walton Dunes Beach Access

Go approximately 2 miles west of our complex on 30A and turn left onto Lakeview Drive. You will come to a stop sign, proceed straight (road then turns into Beachfront Drive), road will then take a 90 degree left turn and the Walton Dunes Beach parking lot is directly on your right (limited parking). The beach access is at the end of Beachfront Drive. You CAN drop your party off at the beach entrance (street level beach entry-no steps) but you will need to turn back and park the cart in the beach parking lot as described above. Please DO NOT park the cart off the side of the road.


Santa Clara Beach Access

Approximately 3.5 miles west of our complex on 30A

This is the same full service public beach access that the Prominence Shuttle takes you to

Park our cart in the Golf Cart parking area ONLY which is in front the large Vincent Scully Mural on the side of the building. Stop by Brozinni’s Pizza on the way there or on the way back. Man, it’s Good!

It’s the only community in our area that we know of that has these restrictions. You CAN however park right next door in Seacrest beach and walk right down the sidewalk to Rosemary Beach.

Directions to Deer Lake State Park from Prominence 30A


• Exit the neighborhood and turn right onto 30A. If by bicycle, cross 30A and travel West (which is turning right) on the bike trail. Stay on bike trail for about 0.8 miles. If by car, turn right onto 30A & drive west (toward Seaside) for about 0.8 miles.

• Look for “Deer Lake State Park” sign. (You’ve gone too far if you cross a bridge over water.) Turn left into park.


• Stop at “pay envelope” post. Pay $3 entrance fee using the envelope honor system. Place tear-off stub on your dash.


• Drive to parking lot. There is a portable restroom and picnic tables next to parking lot. There is no water hose or outdoor shower.


• Follow boardwalk to ocean.


• There is a ramp in addition to stairs down to the beach.

Directions to Gulf Lake Estates Beach Access from Prominence 30A

About a 10 minute bike ride

(without kids or pulling a bike trailer w/ kids)


• From Prominence neighborhood, cross 30A to bike trail in front of The Big Chill.

• Travel East (which is turning left onto the Bike Trail toward The Hub) on bike trail for about 0.8 miles. Trail is flat but a little narrow when it crosses over water.


• Look for “Happy House” 360 Blue rental sign. You’re close to the public beach access!


• Gulf Lake Estates Beach Access has a bike rack. Park bikes here then walk toward the ocean. There is no parking for vehicles.

• On the 10-20 yard or so walk, you’ll pass an outdoor water shower & hose on your right.


There is no parking for golf carts or cars at this public beach access.
